Paranoia in Pavlov; The Book came in the mail today

Ordered Pavlov's Lectures on Conditioned Reflexes. Got the '41 fIrst US edish. 

Paranoiac in me notices a few...peculiarities

Previously owned by Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Okay... 

Last checked out 1965 (wait a minute). Then it looks like it transfers (by sale or theft?) into private ownership, but the family name on the library seal has been whited out. (You've gotta see this thing, maybe you call it a crest. Certainly an emblem of some kind.) 

Oh, and the bottom row of the sticker on the binding, which seems to have been largely and quickly blotted out but which seems to have served some classificational (classicfictional?) function in the library of whoever owned it previous?...:
