GR translation: a genuine, point-for-point microcosm

"Point-for-point" indicates a corollary or parallel mapping from one set of
data to another.  The microcosm is "he," Slothrup.  The heretic is
Slothrup, or what he represents.  The "heretic-chasing" is described
by " Across
the Low Countries, in the summer," etc.
