"they're *all *beautiful"....yes, by looks only, 'objectifying' as some
say, but these assignations are not Love, we all know but I assert such a
feeling is a beautiful one from Slothrop: Generous-minded,  eye-embracing
heartily, an eroticizing of half the whole world, more or less; like
wanting a banana breakfast as often as possible....and I will save myself
the arrows of outrage against sexual equality  (I hope) by quoting a woman,
Laura, re the stars: "This is where the fun is (atta girl)".

Besides invoking Laura to cover my male ass [ the Gaze as Franzen calls it]
I would argue more objectively, that however 'feminism' has changed,  in
the counterforce of GR's sixties, women wanted sexual liberation as it was
optimistically called.

A----And although this is not Brown's 'polymorphous perversity' ideal,it is
one the way, right? OR, simply, Make Love Not War as went around the
spheres in the 60s.
