who is articulating the italicized fantasies of the old ladies and the firemen. First blush seems like Roger but seems to be the narrator? ..or are we to think Pirate, who has overtly linked himself to Roger emotionally, consequentially ( as well as w work) , has this ( and other) fantasies?
