Hi,
This is the link for what I refer to below.

Perhaps the editions are not news to the UK Pynchon scholars or some
others. However, what I find interesting is the other side that Florina
Kostulias exposes about Donadio's ineptness or laxness regarding this
situation. Enter the astute young Ms. Jackson.
This makes the early 80's a time of big change for Pynchon, both in the
literary field and in the broader social field. Several years later finds
him with a full domestic status and living in a major city, with all the
concomitant duties of school activities and doctor check-ups, museum
visits, etc.

Hi,
Hope you are all enjoying your summer.
I came across this but can't find a date so I'm not sure how old it is.
Perhaps it has already been posted, if so - sorry.
Florina Kostulias looks at the so-called 'pirated' editions of Pynchon's
short stories.
The impression I get is that Candida dropped the ball by not responding to
the Aloes publishers and then TP didn't see a dime from the sales. Worse
she was missing an opportunity to collect the stories and reissue them.
Of course this also coincides with Pynchon's new realtionship with one of
Donadio's employees who was ready to make her own move - after all the
'80's saw the rise of the literary Super Agent so it was a good time to
make the move.
