Yes, a very good novel.
Another solution to current troubles pushed by historian Brad Gregory would
be a return to the pre-Reformation Christian Middle Ages where everyone
thought and believed the same thing because they sort of had to.
Gregory is one of the reactionaries featured in Mark Lilla's The
Shipwrecked Mind.
