The discussions tend to cluster around world history & politics;
literary and other artworks with one foot in postmodernism (whichever
definition you prefer); a smattering of weird, conspiracy, paranormal
or freak-out themes; bits of humour or light rumination; the very
occasional personal mention. All makes sense for a Pynchon list to me.
