Robert Fripp! Loved his stuff. I also think Hawkwind tinnitus is an actual
thing. They were famous for volume-induced vomiting too if memory serves.

For What it's worth, I wrote a (probably terrible, but pass-worthy) paper
on Boulez and Varése when a post-graduate for a friend of mine doing a
music degree. Her antipathy (nay, intense loathing )towards them was such
that she couldn't listen to them enough or read enough to write about them
and their work. I loved it.
