desert island books

Are we all done posting on our desert island books? Now I owe.
Pynchon.
Shakespeare--for the creation of the human, the emotional highs and lows of
life.
Chekhov, complete works remember---for the insight into the normal life of
human beings. Esp the boredom I might feel.
