According to a couple pieces I've read about scriptwriter, TV
writer-producer and BIG MOVIEmaker, Paul Greenglass, the director and
writer behind the Jason Bourne franchise,
he is a heavy reader too.

if and when any others on the Plist see this movie, it might make a decent
discussion, at least
for this:

I will suggest that this newest one has bits of inspiration from Pynchon's
work OR
a couple of Pynchon's grandest themes are so full in Pynchon, that a good
pop-culture
film writer and director works within them like stars shine in the same
sky.

Paranoia a similar given....but then more....
