Wasn't that 'robot' a surprising word when you first read it?
Pirate can have other people's fantasies. Pirate is made
to fantasize sex by Them. Invasion of the body snatchers,
in effect. And dehumanizing into a robot.


Back to the toilet scene: just want to note more definitively
P's use of warm, positive tropes, from all the tropical detail,
to contrast with all of the racism that surfaces.
