June 22: In history

Why this focus on June 22? It's funny: I'm writing a novel that occurs
majorly on this day, June 22, 2013. It's an important date in Brazil's
recent history. We had our "Arab Spring"/"Occupy Wall Street" during that
month, and the climax of everything happened that week. June 22, a
Saturday, may be regarded as the first post-war day.
Cheers.
