It's time although it still creeps in its petty pace....

NB..since we now have time, I took myself off of the first section post. An
honored choice I would think. That first paragraph
And the whole situational set-up-- and lots of allusions buried in it as in
most places, but not all. Many are " just" history, Rocket history. And
more wherein the overarching metaphors rule, not allusions.

Not a big rush to sign up, huh? That alone could be a sign of still-birth.
Anyway, I'll get the sign-up ball rolling:

Okay, we were gonna start revving our engines, sharpening our
pencils, strengthening our fingers, corralling new members, rereading
and preparing, overcoming our fears, remembering that there aren't
any stupid questions, practicing text-based observations and
interpretations,
(as in some recent non-GR discussions here).
And picking our Hosting spots and otherwise asking about protocol. And
naming
the Read.
Pick your section ( we can do more than one, of course but let's pick later
ones after all who want
have picked one first). Put your name a bit far to the right of the
line you want.
Yes, I said we might start on The Ides of March so I have. That is a
Tuesday, which
will be pushed back on, most probably wanting a weekend start day. I
suggest we leave
it Tuesday and we can prepare our posts on the weekend time we might have
and
save them until Tuesday. Preparing and saving and rereading before sending
can help
a lot of us besides me make better posts, I suggest.
But, we'll vote if enough push back---but someone else will redo all the
dates below
if we do opt for the weekend okay? Boring.

GROUP READ of Beyond the Zero section of GR.
In Memory of Dave Monroe and James Kyllo & because Laura Kelber.
>From scene to scene, sprockets to sprockets, as they were first
thought to be. (But they're not. Who knows what they mean?)
One week per sprocket bracket (since almost all have read it already,
right, many more than once?). Pick your sprocket below.
Starting now. Short sections. The Big Short. Martin Short.
You can improvise day-by-day, they are so short, no need to prep
within your busy life.Just point and ask questions and the smart
under-posters will give the answers. Ask our translators. A--and the
bloviators will blow. So you will have a breather. Did I say short?
Did I say improvise? Did I say "Self, no need to say everything you
think should go on record, anything more than zero on the page is
better than zero and the beyond is still beyond."
