Depends what you call progress, really, yes?
I think it's possible to get all mystical about this image Pynchon uses, or
all political. It's also possible to shade each into each.
BTW--my computer is on the fritz. Can't get on it much or for long. I do
sincerely apologize for going absent. I need to save up for a new machine.
