It's been ten years.

The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, which was the 21st in 2006, was laydown day for AGAINST THE DAY in the US. I walked into a Borders in Chicago where there was a FULL DUMP DISPLAY, surprising the hell out of me.( didn't think it would be sold into stores in dumps) I bought one as a house-visiting gift for my oldest college buddy ( and a Collected Poe for his wife) and began reading it a bit while I had a great Thanksgiving visit for the first time in decades.
Started reading it at slack times, was led to discover the Plist and the wiki--thanks much, Mike--and didn't stop. And then all anew. And again.
I remember the pretty great Tim Ware saying in some interview about his wiki, "it will take us at least ten years to start to get AGAINST THE DAY."
He was easily right and I wonder what his new timeframe would be.
TRP, I salute this anniversary of your great book.
