Gravity's Rainbow embodies Donald Trump.

We've posted, thankfully I say to myself first, almost nothing about Donald
Trump here
on the Pynchon listserve.
A lister has generously shared offlist a piece using Musil's The Man
Without Qualites
as a symbolic way toward getting him. It is at the LA Review of Books if
you are interested.
But this brilliant piece, I say, because it hits on the flummoxing we do,
I've done, about
Trump's constant lies and post-facts world is also deeply relevant to
Pynchon readers, I suggest
because of its focus on dominance and submission
that full-length Gravity's Rainbow subject and theme. ( I, personally, only
had
thoughts of GR when I have read of some of DT's relations with women but
this person makes the full character (without qualities) case. IMHO.)
