Maybe they had trouble reaching the person? 

My only betting clue then would be I've heard that Les Murray lives sorta off the grid,
No phone nor computer where he resides deep in Australian nature. A good poet friend of mine, whom I've actually published,  has published in the poetry magazine Les publishes and said mail is all.
