Was introduced to both Pynchon and Delillo at the beginning of a 7 year prison sentence that ended this June. White Noise wasn’t my favorite Delillo book (Libra), but I read it the most because for some reason there was always an old, but barely touched, copy of it on the book-carts that they pushed around the seg units once a week. I’ve always thought it could make a good movie. Or a colossal disappointment. If it’s the latter, Mr Almereyda and I will have words.
