Zak Smith

Definitely not a necessity, but it’s kinda neat. I’m glad I didn’t read it till after reading the original a few times, feel like the art would’ve always popped into my head when I thought about the book – the way I picture Brad Pitt when I think Tyler Derden, Eric Bana as Henry De Tamble etc
Sounds like Smith is a bit of an ass-hat though so I won’t be recommending it.

It was. Probably still is. I own it and was going to post each page during the last GR Read but copying was a bitch. So, didn't.

But I wouldn't buy it now after he REFUSED to even keep talking to Morris. Insultingly.

Shows me he no longer 'gets' one of the meanings of
GR, so I might still trust the Art not the artist but the book is not a necessity imo.

What about his art book on what happens on every page of GR? Is it worth it?

Ah, yeah that’s pretty bogus David. Irritating to have somebody toss an insult at you and then end communications.
Not that it matters, but those pornos he was in sucked too. Or so I heard from a friend….
What a douche.

We had a short FB interaction in which I responded to a statement he made about the value of art. He quickly bristled, then insulted, and then banned.

Good riddance.

Confused. See nothing on his FB besides a bunch of his art. Am I not getting something or do I just need to ask what makes him a coward? If so: What makes etc…?
