Admitting herself to adhering to a type of double agency, the warm Madame
Eskinoff reveals to Lew that she was once one(?) of the 22 numbers of the
Icosadyad, the Unwise One.

Double agency, double refraction, double twos, the Gemini twins, and now we
have what is offered up by the Grand Cohen as double history, one somehow
administered by the two professors, Renfrew and Werfner: when Edward Oxford
took a shot at Queen Victoria, the bullet actually hit home, in the sweet
spot, between the royal eyes, the mask of whom is also covering the real
age we live in, the Ernst-August Age.  There then being a timeless Being
who stands-in for the real queen, yet another double..

To get some insight into the current geopolitical tangle in the Ottoman
territories regarding the awarding of a new trainline to either England or
Germany that goes down from Turkey through the fertile crescent to Basra
and the Persian Gulf, the Grand Cohen and Lew go visit Madame Eskimoff, who
through trance seance gets hold of another spirit, and what comes through
is the sound of an explosion, which will need investigating.

Because the proposed and highly coveted new railway basickly goes through
ancient Sumer, not only is it a Sumerian railway, but given other elements
hinted at around these parts, and really throughout, it is an Annunaki
railway.  The other Queen, the Icosadyad, the secret Pythogerean (Python)
basis of TWIT, frequent mentions of "other beings" that are serpentine, the
Chum Hierarchy giving orders to both sides, the very general concept of the
They altogether, the group of entities that control the corporations and
the governments, etc, so forth, these are all suggestive of the Annunaki.
The list can go on.  One element that is most dramatic, is one of the very
bases of the Work so far, the anarchist dynamiters, who are exactly what
the Annunaki did to humans, after genetically engineering them enslaved the
humans in gold mines.

The Grand Cohen explains his suspicion that the number XV in the Tarot is
represented these days by the professors and leading specialists in the
Eastern Question, Renfrew at Cambridge and Werfner in Gottingen, by showing
how in the classical deck the Devil is shown by two chained figures, human
here but in earlier times two demons.

The New Lew's N. friends decide that they would like to have him inducted
into the Order of TWIT.  The Grand Cohen tells Lew that in that fateful
blast back in Colorado where the N.s found him he may have crossed over to
another reality.  Cohen claims the bombers were angelic shamans, but Lew
insists they were just anarchists.  The TWIT are protecting Yashmeen, who
is a relative of an important Hussar somewhere in Inner Asia.  The Cohen
explains his ideas on psychic detectives, and that the twits have only one
real suspect, one unit who are 22 people, working in secret, who cause
history to happen on this planet.  The roles, the personalities perhaps,
who the 22 portray themselves to be, happen to correspond to the
"twenty-two Major Arcana of the Tarot Deck".  The Cohen has Lew suppose
that the serpent of Eden was a real being from "behind the sky"...
