Not NP - Somebody Should Probably Look Into This Minor Nuclear Weapons Issue

I understand that these positions are very much a spoils system but the
willingness to leave sensitive posts vacant is dangerous. Having said that,
these agencies are staffed with professionals. I personally think the more
liberal agencies (in terms of mission) may be better off left to their own
devices than taking marching orders from deplorables.

Maybe that is a little glib. Obviously, certain decisions require someone
to be in charge. Sometimes I'll be listening to their plans and think 'Good
thing these people are just cranks,' forgetting that they have total
control.
