Trump's (& Putin's) Plan to Dissolve NATO & EU

Trump can't break up the EU even if he wants to. The EU may shed a
nation or two, add a nation or two over the next four years, but Trump
will have little to do with the outcomes. He is certainly putting
Europe and the world on notice that the free trade globalization days
are over and that the US will not sign on to new major trade
agreements, will work to renegotiate agreements, will antagonize
Russia and support the expansion of the NATO/EU markets East. He is
sending Mexico and China strong messages. How much of this is bluster
and bully-twitter remains to be seen, but for now he has the attention
of governments who must know that things are likely to change. Europe
seems poised to benefit from a stronger dollar and a stronger US
economy under Trump.
