Talking about Pynchon on the Pynchon list? What a great idea!

You've assembled a wonderful assortment of pithy quotes. So much ( most? all?) of what he writes is completely applicable to today, because he beckons us to look deeper, look behind and under, look at the edges, and stare fixedly at the excluded middle, while treating the official, the mainstream, the binary with skepticism. More important than ever before.

Have to ask: you refer to Fender Belly Bodine. Where was the famous Pig Bodine called that? Or is it a mistype?
