Mark Thibodaeu, what do you think of Noam Chomsky theory of media "manufacturing consent"? Do you think that media outlets don't serve propaganda purposes at all or just that all the networks aren't, like you said, a synchronized monolith? Do you think that they might all agree or collude (lol) on some topics? I mean obviously Fox news and CNN appeal to different audiences.

They told me you'd say that
Unfortunately, you've described the thesis of Exiting the Matrix to a T
It's about top capitalists deciding to control public opinion through the media through two mega public opinion firms with 'what's published' being controlled by the usual brown nose schemes (know the rules or perish)
But this RT endorsement, and the "Putin's going to save the World' thinking that follows from it simply stills my orgone plasma pulses

Russia Today, on the whole, is a garbage propaganda outfit stuffed to

the notion that dismantling the West's "soft power" in favor of an
unidentified and (with good reason) hidden replacement ideology would
be a benefit for everyone on the planet.
It would not be.
Furthermore, the idea that "the US media" presents some kind of
monolithic, synchronized "propaganda narrative" is utter bullshit,
which should be obvious to anyone with working eyes, ears, and a
brain.
Al Jazeera, on the other hand, is pretty good.
