So, the concept of a mandala appears in
Hopscotch. About writing itself.
Narrator (most Cortazar-like, it seems):
"I connect with the Center [by writing]--whatever
it may be. Writing is sketching my mandala and at
the same time going through it."
.."just as mandalas are allegorical for everyone
else"..
THEN I learn this was the working title for this novel,
changed, like *Mindless Pleasures* was before pub, to
*Rayuela,-- *Hopscotch in English.
