Both Bone Tomahawk and Ravenous were amazing. Think I watched BT after seeing someone on here mention it and I watched it with my dad the next night, he loved it too. I remember seeing Ravenous when I was 16 or 17 and liking it, but not being incredibly impressed. I think I was discovering Gregg Araki at the time and Ravenous was a little less stimulating than what I was used to. I watched it again a while back and enjoyed it quite a bit. Like John said, the score was amazing. I’d have maybe assumed Johnny Greenwood if I hadn’t of known the year it was made. I like the concept of cannibalism in horror films, but was never too impressed with the mondo stuff for some reason, and I tend to forget that there are other good cannibal movies outside of that subgenre.
Below is a link to a cannibal I met a few years ago. Lenny killed his wife and his lawyer before eating her liver and some of the lawyer. The funny thing is, he has developed a horrible gluten intolerance and now the prison has to feed him a special diet or he gets incredibly ill. Nice guy though, spends a lot of time helping guys with legal work.
