Looking for Advice on Current Films

I just got a chance to be in NYC (Brooklyn) for the weekend.

I'd like to pick up a movie or two that's in current distribution but
probably will never make it to a cinedome in a red state.

I'll probably pick up the James Baldwin bio flick, I'm wondering what else
is out there friends can recommend?

On a different note, did anyone see the DYLAN THOMAS bio flick A POET IN
NEW YORK? I just found out about it and hope to stream it one day in the
future. What if you saw it, what did you think?
