Alas, it could be another sad tale of bad behavior fueled by
"Grab-osterone," a semi-synthetic hormone

that was thought to have been under joint development by ICI and IG
Farben prior to WW II.

Known to cause uncontrolled grabbing, especially of, but not limited
to, objects of desire,

all stores of Grab-osterone were thought to have been lost after the
war. Recently

discovered archives, however, suggest that the formula and a small
amount of this potent

drug were smuggled out of The Zone, just prior to War's end, and found
their way to

a secret warehouse somewhere in Alabama. Traces of Grab-osterone may
have been detected

in and around the nation's capital, as well. And, although this has
yet to be confirmed, in the

water off Palm Beach, Florida, where swarms of octopi were noticed to
be acting strangely,

grabbing everything within reach. The FBI, or what's left of it, is
said to be investigating.

So far, they have concluded that the correct plural of octopus is
octopuses. Keep up the good

work, "G" men!... Stay tuned.
