In Lavie Tidhar's *CENTRAL STATION, *a sci-fi novel (by a guy who has also
won the WorldFantasy Award) set in the future--"a future" as the novelist
says about the present-- in Tel Aviv where real life and virtual reality
are all mashed up, but

"Once, the world was young...People still lived as they had always lived:
in sun and rain, in and out of love, under a blue sky and in the
Conversation, which is all about us, always."

The Conversation is the name for Jung's Collective Unconscious, it seems,
which has been hacked and ransacked and otherwise changed and misused in
this future.

A nice conceit, I say.
