NetFlix "Alias Grace"

Just watched the 1st episode.  It teases your interest, mainly because the
main narrator has wit and turns words repeatedly.  At times it is very
dark.  Is it a defense of a murderer?  Is it a case study?  Does it
describe the birth of temptation to murder?  I think so.
