NP | ZK translation: a self-willed inferno

“Self-willed” in that context would mean something like “self-determined’ or “self-chosen.”    It would mean we brought the inferno on ourselves - plural - because he’s talking about the society of nations.   

Kind of like climate change is going to culminate in a "self-willed" catastrophe.
