M and D group read

  So uhmmm sorry I have completely flaked out of this and probably won't be able to run this. I got distracted and picked up Swann,'s Way and I'm so enamored with Proust that I'll likely be tied up with A la recherche du temps perdu for awhile. It really lives up to the hype and makes subjects that would typically bore me interesting. So sorry again. I still really want to talk about some theories I have about M and D (like is Dixon Don Barthelme?, How P. uses the "Hairy Ball Theorem" from math as a theme, what the Vroom family is supposed to be an allegory of (I don't know), how he riffs on America as Paradise or hell with the rivers being rivers found in Hades or Elysium, and more) sometime. So if you guys still do it I will try to pop in.
