M&D Proposal

I’ve been involved in many group reads here. Usually the best way (if you’re not doing the leader role) is to read the section just before the group discusses it - so have that part freshly read by the opening date.

QUESTION: If you can do it - read the whole book first and then try to keep up with the discussion as the group goes. That gives better context but I’m not sure at this point about the group’s feeling about spoilers. (someone please advise)

Some folks here have read M&D many times and know all sorts of odds and ends. Others are just reading for the first time and might feel lost. Just get through it - (don’t give up!) - contribute something or ask a question. A lot will stick and the book moves on.

Becky
who, due to time and personal activities, really doesn’t know how much help she can be but will try to give some parts a shot -

Is the idea that I ought to have read the particular section by the beginning date, or that I take the couple of weeks to read that section. I plugged all the page-sections into my Google Calendar just to be sure I stay on top of it.
