M&D Proposal

I am fine with either but support 12/21 for two reasons.
1) I have not witnessed a completed group read of any Pynchon book in my
time on this listserv. I do not have reason to believe a later start date
will inhibit participation and completion (to the best of my recollection
no such gestation period separated the idea for and beginning of any of
those incomplete group reads in my time here). In fact, I suspect the
opposite.
2) I have read this book on my own before, each time supplementing it
mostly with the page-by-page annotations on the wiki. I think the extra
time to read things related to this book will appreciably enrich my
experience of it in a way that will not suffer for starting two months
later (this assumes point 1 is sound).
Shadow-reason 3) I (for personal reasons) like the idea of adhering to the
length and actual occurrence of a season, and also like the synchronicity
of the group read's start date and the Cherrycoke frame's start date.
