NP - Miss Hokusai on Netflix

Very high quality Japanese animation, primarily strong in its story
telling.  But graphics are really great too.  Subtitled, so you have to pay
attention.  Main character is a young, bold female ink-brush artist. Gruff
master artist father.  Blind younger daughter in convent.  Father- daughter
trips to brothels to do portraits of courtesans.  The subsequent subject
matter is wide-ranging, and deep.
