It would make a magnificent 18-hour binge, or even two 9-hour days.
There are a few plot threads that arc across the whole thing but
enough offshoots, narrative culs-de-sac and one-off moments that it
really is close to a Pynchon novel in terms of narrative complexity,
and I don't necessarily mean one of the shorter novels.
