Pynchon-inspired music (request for contributions)

I'm interested in bands, musicians, or works of music where the link is
explicit, clearly intended, or stated in one way or another.

If there are strong resonances for things that *seem* inspired by Pynchon's
themes, styles and stories and they can be argued well, then I might
include them or put them in a "resonates but link could not be proven"
section.
