Lost City of Z & Kipling

Came across mention of Kipling's poem The Explorer in the movie Lost City of Z. Has this not been tied to Against the Day in any way with its refrain of 
"Something hidden. Go and find it. Go and look behind the Ranges - 
"Something lost behind the Ranges. Lost and waiting for you. Go!"
