NP but RIP Hugh Hefner --since no one else here might.

I'm actually kind of amazed by all the vile piling on that the new puritans
of the Middle Left are indulging in at the Great Man's passing. You'd think
he was Torquemada and De Sade combined from the bleatings emitted by the
Usual Suspects at The Guardian, HuffPo, et al, and not one of the most
important and courageous free speech, free expression, and (whatever one
might think of his own, oft-darkly-rumored-about personal peccadilloes)
liberation from some very foolish sexual hangups, at a time when it was
sorely needed. H e was an original, he was great, he lived his best life,
and he made a lot of people very, VERY hor-I mean happy.

Plus, Playboy Magazine was AWESOME for a great many years. Just awesome. So
much great writing!

I'll just go ahead and say it... FUCK the haters. Hef was fuckin' Aces, man.
