Why is it courageous? To point out the continued abomination that is the American war in Afghanistan. We all know about the corruption and greed.
However, a wholesale disengagement from world affairs on a whim surely isn’t good either.
Syria is too complicated or that region for that matter for a precipitous US pullout.
Trump may win some points but his road still leads to hell
I like Taibbi, read his column often.
