Hello All,
Happy New Year!

A couple of years ago, in a flurry of Pynchonophilia, I acquired most of the books which featured blurbs by our Sainted namesake, (May his Worth be Ever Disputed among the rabble, as Our Devotion Continues Unabated....;-)...)

Some of those I’ve read have proven to be quite strange to me, maybe of an experimental nature, which may or may not be what elicited the interest and praise of our own Mr. P.

However, at the present moment, I’m into another, which I so far, can heartily recommend. This is, The Testament of Yves Gundron, by Emily Barton. Has anyone else read it? It’s described as a kind of folk tale, and I suppose that’s a start. It has a really good beat, and you can dance to it...

I would be interested to know if anyone has read it, and what you think. No spoilers, please!
