Off-list Simpsons Essay

Hey y'all,

Thought some of you might be interested to read an essay I published in *The
Point. *The essay is about growing up with The Simpsons on the south side
of Chicago. Largely about that show as a kind of unprecedently democratized
proxy for high culture and even a certain kind of spiritual awareness.

It's a few months old at this point, but I was inspired by Joseph's window
work.
