I wonder how much M&D was an influence on "The Baroque Cycle". There's been
talk of a 1950s novel. Stephenson said somewhere that that's the really
interesting decade and there is a lot of stuff to mined there.
I enjoyed "Interface", which he wrote with his uncle, and has some
relevance to the present crisis.
