NP: RIP Robert Parry

When Chomsky said the Republican Party was the biggest threat a few yrs ago I brushed it off. But today there’s no doubt in my mind that that is the case. Trump won’t be impeached with the present Congress in power. In any other environment it would seem Trump would’ve been long gone. 
I understand there are those who think the underlying system and parties are essentially corrupt with a free wheel and deal intelligence community. But with Trump we’ve taken two steps back and we need to get back where we were first before tackling these issues. We’re in triage mode right now.
