In search (quest, even) of a (lost?) video

Does anyone have or know how to find the video described in excerpts
from 20-year-old e-mail messages below, or know how to get in touch
with anyone involved in it? I kept meaning to follow up and then lost
track. Now all my e-mails to old addresses have bounced.

"A short film based,in part, on the struggle I went through to
complete a master's thesis on The Crying of Lot 49 is in the final
stages of post-production. It will premiere on Oct 29, 1998, at the
Sit N Spin in Seattle, Washington, and will show there for four
consecutive Thursdays. Although it is not an adaptation or
interpretation of Lot 49, it makes use of my interpretation and some
images from the novel. It also incorporates some related interests of
the director, Keith Payne. It is called Danpen teki chishiki: the
graduate thesis….
As for Danpen, Keith would be better able than I to provide you with
access to the film itself, but I can tell you, roughly, its content.
Both the thesis and the film revolve around a three-part structure
based on the Varo triptych and on Fredric Jameson's distinctions among
pre-modern realism, modernism and postmodernism."

"The film is actually a video, and was produced on Digital Video, and
edited 'non-linearly.' The film that can be referenced as Danpen Teki
Chishiki: The Graduate Thesis currently exists as the 'Editor's Cut /
Offline Version' completed in October, 1998. Director/Filmmaker: Keith
Payne. Length approximately 20 minutes."
