This book was quite popular, sold steadily, in the late sixties and early
seventies, just fyi.

Some album or group entitled* Mechanization Takes Command* in the eighties.

So, Machine was a capped Noun, outside of Pynchon's M & D era, a reified
overarching concept, even in 1909. Was Forster the one who did it?
If I, or anyone, cared enough, I'd research it more.
