This has become one of the most performed wedding songs in recent decades.
One can see why. Appeal of equality and simple but real commitment.
This version is more beseeching than the original (and many covers), less
demanding. Such beseeching is wonderfully nice, imho. More intimate,
plaintive even. Makes Standing by One sound, well, seductive, almost. LOVE.
