NP but Picasso;An Inconvenient Masterpiece: When Art Took on Fascism

I like the Pynchon word here; I have always seen Guernica as Gravity's Rainbow on canvas, ( --or vice versa--as sublime anti-war masterpieces each)--this of course after reading GR but knowing Guernica even earlier.
That eternal lightbulb above the agonized horse 
Always makes me think of Byron the Bulb, since GR. 
The details here hurt and illuminate. Feeling expands.
