Latour is not at war with the sciences...

Thank you. Thank you. THANK YOU!,,,,

just two immediate associational thoughts without knowing more about Latour
than this.
1) Pynchon-related: one can see his 'solution' as anti-binary, as P's deep
use of that conceit/insight allows. (And we loved 'gravity' here,
right?, a fully-formed hugely created "fact". I remember when I was a young
bookseller, there was a huge---Vollman-sized; Proust-sized--
textbook on GRAVITY that was an assigned or recommended book in some
physics classes or other. I remember thinking: how could there be
so much to say? it is what it is...
                A) Why couldn't his publisher call his book; CONSTRUCTING
GRAVITY and a Rainbow of other 'facts"?

2) Wittgenstein's concept of 'forms of life" spreads into materiality, so
to very loosely metaphorize.

I would have been so angry at you had I missed this forever. Smile.

Now, should I order the book? Or an earlier one?

Every fact is a dilemma, so to speak.
