I am self-convinced, the lonely independent demo-scholar, trying to impress
all readers and other real Pynchon scholars, desperate to be believed- that
"Mike" Abrams'* NATURAL SUPERNATURALISM *was influential as concept--or
tracked alongside it as a deeply seen and felt 21st Century example--in
Pynchon's metaphysical/ontological vision as finally, fully, realized
in *Against
the Day*.

 One major reading, anyway, since with his resonant ambiguity, there are at
least two other major readings, I say, as the arrogant detective who solved
the closed room murder said in some famous story when someone asked how he
could figure it out: "There were two other possibilities"....
